"Listening to the wind blow through the trees and being close to the water is  a huge part of how I survived the first several months after my daughter died. I googled "grief retreat" many times early in my loss. I longed to be cared for, in nature. To be able to let my grief come through without needing to be ok for everyone else. At the time I couldn't find anything - but  the daydreaming of facilitating my own grief retreat someday became a welcome distraction to my pain. Almost 5 years later, I'm so excited to finally facilitate a retreat for others who are living with grief and who need pause."

"My work revolves around creating a space where people feel cared for, the empowerment of others, harnessing purpose and momentum, practicing self-compassion and building resiliency in all sorts of settings - hiking through the forest, sitting on a park bench, paddling the ocean, floating down a river, seated in a classroom, balancing in a studio...I’ve spent years supporting people of all ages to build resilience, confidence, and emotional awareness in both traditional and unconventional spaces."
